Augmentarium

Running good, with added configuration file and mods.

In closed area gets 30-60 FPS, in large areas 18-30 FPS, and in massive areas 9-19 FPS.
Totally playable and smooth, stuttering a little in open world but not a big deal!
I play in 800x600 resolution, it can go lower (edit in configuration file) but it does not help performances!

Follow next to set game:

1. Download this Fallout 3 olio Optimization Pack v1 and extract everything from it

2. Take d3d9.dll and put it in main installation folder (where Fallout3.exe is)
example: C:\Program Files\Fallout 3

Now run Fallout Launcher (FalloutLauncher.exe), wait video settings detection and exit when finished.

3. Copy config files
FALLOUT.ini
FalloutPrefs.ini
RendererInfo.ini

to this folder (C:\Users\YOUR-USER-NAME) \My Documents\My Games\Fallout3
overwrite existing.

4. Add mods

First download ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated!, DOWNLOAD
Start it and Activate it.

Now copy (from Fallout 3 olio Optimization Pack v1):
LessRocks.esp
lessviewdistance.esp
no blur on hit.esp

to (C:\Program Files) \Fallout 3\Data

Download and install Fallout Mod Manager

Start Fallout Mod Manager, select Fallout 3 on start.
Now you will see all mods listed, select added mods and exit.

5. Low res textures

Adds a few fps in large and massive areas!

Download Low Res Textures mod (All_In_One.zip), DOWNLOAD
Extract All In One Low Res Textures.fomod from zip.
Now open All In One Low Res Textures.fomod in Fallout Mod Manager (installed in step 4)
And activate it, when activated exit Fallout Mod Manager.

6. Fallout Stutter Remover

Removes a lot of stutter!

To use Fallout Stutter Remover you need first FOSE (Fallout Script Extender)
Download FOSE, DOWNLOAD
Extract FOSE files (.dll and stuff) to main install folder of Fallout 3 (where Fallout3.exe is)

FROM NOW ON, WHEN YOU WANT TO PLAY FALLOUT 3, START IT WITH fose_loader FROM MAIN INSTALL FOLDER!!!

Now download Fallout Stutter Remover, DOWNLOAD
Extract from FSR zip Data folder to main installation folder of Fallout 3, and overwrite if needed.

That's it, start game everytime with fose_loader!

7. Enable Vertex Software Processing

Go to Control Panel > Intel GMA Driver for Mobile

Now in 3D change Vertex Processing to Enable Software Processing

Now play Fallout 3

IF GAME IS CRASHING!

- Play it in Windows XP SP3 Compatibility mode
- Run game as Administrator
- Disable external/additional screen (if you have more than one screen)
