1. Install Patch

2. In-game Options

Run game goto Video options, set everything to lowest possible and disable everything

Resolution 800x600
Texture Quality Low
Texture Filtering Trilinear
Effects Quality Low
Dynamic Shadows Off
Dynamic Lights disable
Post Effects Low

3. Config edit

Goto
Program Files\Ubisoft\Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter\Data\settings
Edit renderer_settings.xml in notepad

resolution = "640 480"

If you try to lower anything else in file it will only make things worse, game will be slower.
So that's all that can be done.
