Running great, very smooth and can get very fast.
Checkout next configurations and choose best suiting.

Game on Very Low and low resolution can get 29-50 FPS
On Very High and 1280x720 resolution it runs 9-12 FPS
On Medium and 1280x720 12-18 FPS

I prefer next:
Resolution 1024x768

Under Advanced:
Texture Detail Level Medium
Anisotropic Filtering Disabled
Antialiasing Disabled
Fullscreen Enabled
Extra Gamma Effects Enabled
Render Glow Disabled
Distortion Effects Disabled
High Quality Video Enabled

It gets 14-20 FPS

If you need configuration file, it is here:

Goto installation folder of Trine
\Trine\config
options.txt is configuration file

or if it is not there
goto Start > Run
Enter
%APPDATA%/Trine/
Folder should open and there should be options.txt

Game runs good on lowest settings, see the next setup.

So game runs in 14-25 FPS, just open Trine 2 Launcher and set next:

Resolution 512x384 (or 640x480 or 800x600)
Anti-Aliasing Off
Vertical Sync Off
Graphics detail level Very Low

If you want to try edit configuration file follow next:

Goto Start > Run
Enter next
%APPDATA%/Trine2/
Press OK
Folder will open and there will be options.txt, that is config file.
