Both running great, Mirror's Edge needs couple of tweaks. For MGS2 just experiment with visual settings till you get the best.
Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance


Game runs great, 25+ FPS (average 50 FPS depends on settings).

If you have black screen problem then download Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance olio Black Screen Fix v1 extract bin folder to main game install folder, example C:\Program files\Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance

Patch game to v2.0 before starting and adjusting settings.



Mirror's Edge

Running great, very smooth with few tweaks.
15-30 FPS with my config in 800x600 resolution.

First set next:
Right-click game shortcut on desktop (if you don't have one then make it), select properties.
Under Shortcut tab in Path add -dxlevel 80
Example. "C:\Program files\Mirror's Edge\GAME.exe" -dxlevel 80

Now download this config Mirrors Edge olio Config v1
Extract TdEngine.ini to
\My Documents\EA Games\Mirror's Edge\TdGame\Config
and overwrite existing config.
Right-click config and goto Propeties and set it to Read-only.
